It’s been a while, blog-land.

We had a relatively quiet summer, other than a quick trip N and I took down to CA to see my family and spend time with Auntie S before she embarked on her year-long study abroad in London. =)

We also took quite a few trips to Menchies for frozen yogurt, as well as Starbucks.

However, our biggest news (and the main reason the summer was relatively quiet) is that our family is growing!

Introducing Little I!

I am currently 23 weeks pregnant, and Little I is due to arrive in early February, just after N’s birthday. =) This precious girl is an answer to our prayers, and this pregnancy has been blessedly uneventful thus far. Every blood draw, ultrasound, and appointment has yielded nothing but good news. Little I is 100% healthy and already bopping around inside me. It’s the most wonderful feeling, especially because I wondered if I would ever feel it again. We are so thankful to the Lord for her sweet life!

N is going to be the most wonderful big sister. She loves babies and loves talking to Little I in my tummy. She asks everyday if the baby can come out now. =)

Parenting can be hard, but it is also so rewarding. N is precocious, sassy, incredibly helpful, gentle, and kind. Her imagination is growing by leaps and bounds and it’s amazing to see her unique personality really start to shine. We are getting treasured glimpses of the young woman God created her to be.

I will be endeavoring to update more often with pregnancy updates and glimpses into our life. =)
